It was heavy like some others had said but to me that just made it feel more sturdy and solid. I heated it for 3mins as opposed to the suggested 15secs and find that that keeps the heat for my 30 to 60 min treatments. It’s a great invention and I love its portability, after putting a treatment on I was able to pick my daughter up from the station when she called unexpectedly, I’d never have been able to do that if I was plugged up to an electric socket. I’ve used it every week since I got (several weeks ago) it and no issues. Make sure you scrunch the hat up after heating to ensure the heat spreads through the hat for full head coverage.
