From an environmental point of view, not only was the glass bottle a good choice, but it was good to also see that the bottle was completely full.The lid is easy to unscrew as there is no childproof lock. The inner seal is also easy to remove thanks to the inclusion of little tabs that help you to peel it off.The dosage on the label is 2 capsules per day, meaning that as there are 60 capsules in the bottle, there are only enough to last a month (30 days).The capsules themselves measure 2.3cm long and have a diameter of 8mm. Although they have an easy to swallow shape, due to their size, some people might find them a little difficult to swallow.A dosage of 2 capsules is said to contain 1000mg of Alpha Lipoic Acid.The only other ingredient listed on the label is Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (vegetable capsule shell).The capsules I received had a Best Before date that was nine months from the date I received them. Frustratingly for a British product, this date uses the American format of month/day/year which has the potential to be confusing. The date was written using the UK format on the box the bottle arrived in, however, you are likely to throw that box away as soon as it arrives.These supplements are said to be suitable for both Vegetarians and VegansIt’s always hard to recommend supplements because what works for one person may not work for another. However, if you wish to try Alpha Lipoic Acid, then this is a very good quality, pure way of trying it. The packaging, glass bottle and clear label are all high quality too.
