A: No

**Q: Can you use this on pistols/guns?**
A: Yeah don't see why it could not be used. But it is a little thinner than what you would usually use on a gun.

**Q: will it dry or collect lint?**
A: For the applications I have used this oil...no

**Q: Can I use this for a switchblade that opens slow and has a tight lock mechanism? Thanks**
A: Yes, but if it is folding switchblade I would try loosening the tension of the pivot screw first. Also take it apart and make sure nothing in the pivot is broken because that can slow it down.
