Geoffrey ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Please don't fail me now! About 2 1/2 GREAT months. *by J***T on 2 March 2014* I base more of my satisfaction on a product like this on its functionality than its looks. I have little fashion sense, and these are nothing to look at. They aren't completely hideous by any means, they are just far less desirable than more expensive items.I have bought several cheap shoes in the past, from a pair of joke £5, "feel the gravel in your feet and fall apart within a couple of month shoes", to more expensive shoes, pushing towards the £17 mark. So I'm a big spender on footwear, and a little tight all round. Money wise.Cheap shoes are usually false economy as they either fall apart within a few months, let water soak your feet, have a thin sole...endless problems really. I keep falling for it. These shoes though, they are pretty good. They have reasonable grip, comfortable feel and maybe very minor road penetration, aren't too hard to clean. They are nice and cheap, and so far after about 2 1/2 months and maybe 150ish miles, have yet to fail me.So far, although these aren't as easy to clean as my last pair, are not so shiny that I've landed on my face and required stitches. Just hope this review doesn't push the price up any time soon. I'll need a new pair one day.
