I thought I would try Hycosan Night to see if it was more suitable than the drops for night use. Because it's an ointment it is a little more fiddly to apply than the drops, having to squeeze a small amount onto the inside of your eyelid (there's not much indication of the exact amount you should use). Once applied your vision will be very blurry for a little while, so make sure to apply this as the last thing before going to bed. Unfortunately I found that for my condition, it was similar to the eyedrops at night for improving comfort, but while I was using it, my close to mid-range vision became noticeably degraded through the following day.
