Then I read the reviews and I was sold. After they came, I couldn't wait to try them on, and everyone was right. Fit is just right, no breaking in, no blisters and cushy insoles. There isn't a lot of support, but I am only wearing them for special occasions or just a quick outing. I do wear them with stockings because my aging 72-year-old legs aren't as nice as they used to be. Highly recommended. They match two of my outfits which really made my day!

They did not pinch my feet anywhere and are true to size, not too wide or narrow at all. They do press a little on the top of my foot, but I think they will until they actually wear in, and it's not painful or uncomfortable, just like they are very fitted. I normally wear a 7.5, sometimes an 8, but I got 7.5 and they fit amazing. They are not flimsy, nor stiff. No weird squeaking or farting noises when I walk (always a plus!). The sole is a rubber, not too thin or thick, and has a nice non-skid ribbing. There is a nice light padding on the inside sole. The pair I received did not have any weird or noticeable smell that I saw in some other reviews. I will definitely be buying these in a few other colors as they are a really good price and seem like they will last longer than the other cheaper ballet flats I usually buy. I haven't had them long, so if my opinion changes, I would come back and update this review.

They run large. Normally I am a 6-6.5. I sent back the 6 and rebought the 5. I have a narrow foot, but these fit well and are pretty comfortable for the price.
