Lose enough in the legs to be comfortable and a good length. The material is a bit thinner than I would like and a bit scratchier than I like for pjs. Wrinkles are not an issue but I did decide to hang dry them. I have only washed them once so far, but the material has me worried it might shrink. I prefer pjs to be less maintenance. The color was accurate.
