## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this attach to an NHS standard wheelchair?**
A: The idea is it has a sprung loaded clip that grips the stick and a couple of soft foam pads to grip a table edge to stop it wondering off. I do not see how it would attach to a wheel chair. I found it virtually useless as it has a very strong spring and one needs tough fingers to open it and mine are a bit arthritic. The alternative is to leave it on the stick all the time but I found it caught onto things it should not.

**Q: What diameter or walking stick is this designed for, i have a nhs stick which is quite big?**
A: My stick is not an official NHS one, but it  is sturdy, and this was too small for it - fell off within an hour. It fits another, flimsier, stick I have - the type whichis oftern quite pretty but thin.
I'd look for a different one.

**Q: How do you put the walking stick/cane holder on the walking stick. I have arthritis in my hands.**
A: You may need help because the sheer nature of the product is its grip. Once on it is a great help Be warned that it does not fit all walking sticks, anything a bit thick may not be suitable, it is better on a slightly thinner walking stick.

**Q: Lots of comments about the diameter of stick this device will accommodate. Please could you provide a minimum and maximum. diameter.**
A: I have never had a problem with the size. I only use the pretty, metal, fold up sticks, so can't say about wooden ones etc. My current stick is 1.5". Previous one slightly less. 
I have used this gadget for year and just wouldn't be without one. So useful. They are sometimes hard to 'click on' but they always fit mine.

I initially bought one of these which doesn’t work securely on all table top types. It easily slips off, so I bought a second one to use in tandem with the first one. One sits on top of the table, the second one cramps up underneath. Walking stick never falls off.

If I could, I would have given this product a zero rating. It fastens to the walking stick like a clothes peg, and will not fit anything larger than a slim stick, the size of a folding cane. And it is so poorly made that the first time I tried to fasten it to my stick, it came to pieces. The pivot that holds it together consists of two parts, which can only be jammed together, and cannot be fastened securely. The first time I tried to fasten the product to the stick, all the pieces came apart. I managed to put it back together, and fastened it to the stick, but there is only 15 mil of distance on the protruding part of the product, between the cane and the pad which would keep the stick from slipping if the protrusion were longer. And this short protrusion allows the stick to drop at an angle, meaning that the cane really cannot be held in place on a table or desk, etc. Not fit for purpose.
