It is one of the few products that I buy over and over again and even give to people as gifts...it is just so great. So, I was excited to try a body scrub from this brand because I hadn't before. The scent is so good, just bright, refreshing, but not overpowering in the least. I absolutely love the all-star ingredients in this scrub--AHA/glycolic/lactic acids, vitamins, etc. It is effective when applied with the hands, but even more so with a washcloth or an exfoliating mitt. Be sure to hydrate with the ShiKai body lotion within a minute or two of getting out of the shower, after using this scrub, and your skin will be extra soft and smooth. I so appreciate that this product is natural and free of gluten. I have super sensitive skin and this doesn't irritate me in the least. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pleasant gentle scrub *by S***T on April 30, 2023* This scrub has a gentle grit, so it does not feel abrasive in any way. It’s like a wash with scrub rather than full out scrub. The natural fragrance is pleasant and my skin felt clean and fresh after I washed with this. I found I liked it best in places which might be a bit more stinky or sweaty, to really give a good wash to the skin. The lavender is always a favorite and this is a natural one. I like the scrub and will remember it in the future; it would be a fun stocking stuffer too, with a colorful bottle. I like it a lot !! Recommend! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gentle scrub, mild scent *by E***T on April 5, 2023* Got this for my husband who adores a vanilla (or any “bakery” scent). But he is weird about soaps and scrubs: he hates using anything that leaves a film. He likes that this does NOT do that, it rinses clean, and that it offers a good medium lather. The exfoliation is not too hardcore, won’t scrub your skin right off. (This performs best paired with a loofah; a washcloth isn’t ideal). Scent wise, this is mild; if you appreciate a highly fragranced formula that lingers through the day, then you may be disappointed.This leaves his skin feeling clean and quite soft but we can’t describe it as especially moisturizing— it doesn’t dry you out nor provide a pack of dewiness (most soaps marketed as 'scrubs' aren't typically very moisturizing). Thus it’s good for most all skin types as we'd describe this as solidly middle of the road.Hubby has the ShiKai hand lotion in this scent too, he *really* likes the lotion and we’d definitely buy that again. As for this soap, as much as it’s a decent formula, I can’t say we’d go out of our way to purchase again due to the price point vs volume received and ultimate payoff.
