Recently we purchased the Goodnew Leak-Proof Large Capacity Electric Quiet Design Water Dental Flosser for use by my husband and myself. May I say this is one of the best purchases we have ever made! The unit has sufficient attachments so that up to 3 family members may use this one unit. (You can buy additional attachments if you have more family members!) The unit holds more water than most of the other products we looked at. We really like the bigger water capacity size than is usual in the other products we considered. We very much like how clean our teeth and gums feel after using the flosser! This water dental flosser is actually very quiet, to our delight! We decided to buy a unit that has a cord rather than a battery type unit. We are very happy with our decision. We don't have to worry about buying batteries or trying to remember when to charge the unit. Just plug it in and we are busy cleaning our teeth! We are very, very happy with this purchase and HIGHLY recommend the Goodnew Water Dental Flosser to anyone who needs one of these dental products!

I speak from over 40 years of experience using water flossers. In comparison with Waterpik, Interplak, and Dentive brands, this is the BEST of the brood because of its thoughtful design. For example:1. The position of the flosser handle storage is on the side of the item making it easier to grab the water tank when refilling it with water, i.e., one does not have to reach over the handle which is awkward.2. The type of on/off switch is much better designed. The switch is a dial that one twists to turn the item on/off, as opposed to pushing forward. i.e., when pushing forward on the Dentive flosser, the item has to be held in place with one hand while pushing on the switch because the item scoots away. The Goodnew flosser solves this problem in two ways, the twist dial and suction cups on the bottom of the item. In this manner the item is very stable.3. Large water reservoir.4. Handy storage receptacle for attachments.The only very minor detraction is that the hose is somewhat stiff, more so than all of the others.

We've been using this water flosser for a few days and love it! Because of this water flosser's larger tank capacity, we both spend more time water flossing the outside of our gums and between each tooth, and the tongue side of our gums and teeth. We feel like it's a spa for our gums and teeth. We used to have a water pic years ago and we hated how loud it was. After that we bought another brand that wasn't as loud. This water flosser is quieter still (all of them make noise, but this has a duller sound so it seems less annoying). The water pressure is adjustable and we like it somewhere in the middle range (our old water pic had to be turned all the way up to get enough pressure to clean well). The side storage for the additional tips is a nice feature. The thing we love the most, though, has to be that extra large tank! No more need to stop and refill to finish.

The machine kept on turning on by itself and spit out water all over the place. It was funny actually!

First it stopped water pressure about 6 months after delivery. Second, I have used Water Pik brand before and it had more water pressure than this one. The Water Pik also lasted years compared to this one died in 6 months.

Unfortunately, the pressure was intermittent. For 10 seconds it would work fine, then the flow would slow to a trickle no matter what setting the power was on. I didn't have to move anything... it would just "go slow" on it's own. I checked for kinked hose, and made sure that the tank was seated. I'm baffled as to why this was so intermittently working. I ended up returning it.

Brilliant product, upgraded from an older WP-100 which I've been using for the last 5 years (and is still in working condition). This newer model is smaller, lighter, much quieter and more powerful than the WP-100. Now just let's hope it lasts as long.
