Instead of hard PVC, we used pool vacuum hoses to span from the shed roof to the pool. No pump issues. Water stays approx 80 to 82 degrees all the time. We do have hot Colorado sun, so keep that in mind, but if you have a full sun place to put this, and a decent pump setup, you'll love it. Turn it off at night so you don't cool the pool.
