Very fashionable and unique handcrafted purse made with recycled materials. Bag measures 10x12x4 inches and can be worn over one shoulder or cross body since the strap is fully adjustable.  These products are made by women forced to move from the outlying hill districts to Kathmandu because of domestic violence, or single motherhood or widowhood. Women move to the city hoping to make a better life for themselves and their children. Your purchase provides training and employment, generating income for them and their families.  They collect crisps, chocolate and noodle wrappers off the streets of Kathmandu, and rice bags, rubber inner tubes, old saris and other waste materials from hotels and garages. The rubbish is washed, dried, and then crafted into attractive and functional products.
