I was looking around for a dimmable and/or LED desk lamp but not at any price. This is a reasonable compromise if dimmable is not essential for you. Its stylish and looks good. The base is reasonably heavy and solid. I have however replaced the warm light bulb with a daylight bulb. They're cheap and for the price well-made and sturdy with a heavy base. I use one as a bedside reading light and the other as a desk light for work or studying.The lamps have European two-pin plugs but pleasingly came with UK three-pin converter plugs already fitted. As advertised the lamps came with a Philips E27 11 Watt (50 Watt incandescent equivalent) CFL bulb.The only downside to my purchase from Strictly Lamps (and so the four star rating) is that the plastic base and head of one of them has slight scuff marks from possibly rough storage and handling, as the boxes were in a shabby condition indicating they're from old stock, and the boxes had already been opened, I guess to fit the EU to UK converter plugs. However, since I bought these lamps for simply practical reasons, are roughly half the price as those from other sellers and delivery was free of charge, the minor cosmetic damage is acceptable to me.In summary these are cheap and cheerful lamps, and do look it with the plastic base and head, but they're of a solid construction so worth the nearly eight quid each I paid for them, and with a bulb included too.
