Seems to protect better than diphenhydramine which I am using alone now. WHEN THE BAR WAS DONE: The bar lasted 3 whole months with no problem with product. I tried Triamcinolone Acetonide .1% (1mg prescription which I use on my ears). Applied cod liver oil, jojoba oil, zinc oxide for itching. I began then the sulfur bar to wash all hair and particularly the 2 inches at the nap of the hairline/neck. Leaves the hair very soft but like most shampoos flyaway. This morning only the 2 inches and ears. No itching for hours. Next at night before bed and in the a.m. All day whether I am sweating, eating (hey you know what I mean you wonder what makes it worse), all day good and over night without using at night.
