All candles should be on and you will leave the switch at the bottom of the candle set to ON forever until you need to replace batteries (because now you will be turning candles on and off with the controller). (3) Use controller to turn off all candles – press the OFF buttonSection 2: These next steps are performed at the MOMENT YOU WANT THE CANDLES TO automatically turn ON each day: First you must decide what time you want the candles to come on (upon dark) and how long you want the candles to be on each day (2, 4, 6 or 8 hours – I recommend 4 hours – and my batteries last more than 4 months).
