You can hardly see the numbers when a partner is pulling out the tape and you need to stop on a specific meter length. I will be using a thick red sharpie to mark them more legible. Second, I wish the half meter marks were larger lettering and in bold. Finally, the hook is not large enough to put over a piece of rebar (which we used to mark permanent plots). I will not buy this brand again. Go to Forestry Suppliers for good tapes. ### ⭐⭐⭐ This is double sided Metric / English *by R***E on Reviewed in the United States on August 31, 2019* I was ordering a double sided metric tape, come to find out it is English on one side. This should be spelled out in the description. If it doesn't work out, I will return. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not really designed for metric use. *by N***S on Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2015* Yes, it has Metric / English measurement on the tape, but there are a few issues if you are buying this as a metric tape measure..First, the handle has a bunch of screws to take out to open it up. It's then possible to turn the tape over to the other side so metric is facing out correctly. The grab claw however only flips out on the English side, so not usable any longer once you've flipped the tape over.Apart from that, good quality.
