I wear them around the house as they have a loose comfortable fit and they are long enough (to upper thigh) so that I can answer the door without needing to put on shorts or jeans. The material is soft but it is also a bit thin and I have had a problem with a couple of them with tiny holes appearing (though VERY small) in the front after only a few cold-water hand washings. THAT is disappointing and I got zero help from amazon about the problem.
