So far this reel hasn't had any issues and is my favorite to cast. It casts far with 30lb mono. I have been running two of them for 3 months now and bought another two. Me and other guides are running a different Piscfun bait caster for the big 100lb paddlefish. We use 100lb braid on those and catch multiple fish in the 40 to 100lb range every day. So far those reels are holding up great as well. I just don't understand the brand name Piscfun?? Really???
