Chili Works 381 26" Disc Suspension Bike Forks 1" (AHEAD) 210mm Steerer, Orange

I have a very old Univega 5.5 bike which I put Rock Shox Judy XC forks on many years ago. Those forks were always set up hard for London's roads. Then I discovered they no longer worked! The inside of the forks was shot to hell! I didn't want to spend a lot of money on new forks because the bike is 1996 vintage I think! I bought these as my bike is a 1 inch stearer. Arrived promptly, look good, quite heavy. I recently had them fitted and the man in the shop said, "Those forks were £400 new (my old Rock Shox!), and these ones are about as cheap as you can get", (the new ones)! He was right, my old ones were £190 but half price at the time! Initially the Chili forks seemed quite stiff also, but with some spray grease/WD40 sprayed in them, they work REALLY well. They seem to work as well as my £400 ones ever did to be honest! They aren't "soft and sloppy" and the smooth out the pot holes and bumpy roads very nicely. Definitely recommend for the price.
