The focus is always on providing outstanding value to all Kraus customers, and making it affordable to create a kitchen they love. "Love this sink! I bought this sink from desertcart about a year ago and it has been a great addition to our kitchen. It is large enough to soak our largest roasting pan. It is a workhorse. Made extremely well. The sound proofing construction dulls the echoing type sound that most stainless steel sinks have. MONEY WELL SPENT!"

Review: Beautiful, huge, quality, affordable sink! - I LOVE this sink! We've been using it in our newly remodeled kitchen for 2 months and I have mostly praise for it: **Pros: 1) AFFORDABLE! We priced out the competition with fewer features (no grate or drain mechanism) at much higher price points ($799+, and then + accessories). I wouldn't claim this sink is higher quality than one of the higher-end competitors, but it certainly seems like a better value. It's a quality sink, very durable and looks amazing. 2) HUGE. I mean really, really big. I knew the dimensions when I ordered it but visualizing the size and actually seeing it installed surprised me. Don't get me wrong, I love it. But be prepared for the size. It holds even my largest cutting boards and roasters for easy cleaning. I don't wash loads of dishes in it so I haven't attempted to fill it up but if you hand wash dishes frequently you might want to consider how much water it will take to get enough in there to wash dishes. 3) It's beautiful. It's sleek, has clean lines and just really looks great! I've received multiple compliments already. I'm all about function over beauty, but I'll admit that I just love the look of this sink. 4) Cleans easily and is scratch-resistant. I cook a lot and am tough on all of my kitchen tools, including my sink. It's only been two months but I've banged plenty of pots/pans/roasters in it (Thanksgiving) and my husband has even cleaned a few paintbrushes in it (much to my horror!). It cleans up nicely on a daily basis and tougher spots buff out quickly. It seems like it will withstand quite a beating with a reasonable amount of wear. 5) It's packaged amazingly well! I unpacked everything upon arrival to inspect it and it was perfect...the sink was in a nice, soft bag surrounded by foam with the other parts in a separate box packed away from the sink. I've had glassware delivered with less protection! **Things to consider (these are not "Cons" for me, but might be for others): 6) It has a very interesting strainer mechanism, one I was not expecting at all. It's kind of like a deep hinge-handled "basket" that catches your scraps. The stopper is a separate piece. I like it. I don't typically fill my sink so just having the strainer option is a plus. Plus the basket holds more and is easier to clean than the traditional style (no center post to work around). And when I insert it I don't inadvertently put it in the "stop" position and have to reposition it. Some people will like this, some won't. I personally think it's a plus. 7) The grate is a snug, perfect fit. I'm so, so happy I read almost every review and question before purchasing! I read that the grate is tight and could be an issue if you have stone counters with a lip. When they came to template for Quartz I was very specific to tell them I needed a straight cut for the sink, no overlap at all. Their standard was a small lip. Had they done that I most certainly would have run into issues with the grate (I would need to tilt it when removing or cleaning underneath). As long as you consider this and plan accordingly, it is not an issue. I love the modern look of the flush cut sink and would absolutely do it again. However I would have been very annoyed if my stone had been cut with a standard lip and I was struggling with the grate daily. 8) I'm going to jump back to the size for a minute. It's long, wide and deep. Which I love. But the depth come with a small price. A) if, like me, you were hoping for a single/double pull out garbage for under your sink, good luck with that. I've tried 3 brands/sizes and because of the depth of this sink, they don't fit by as little as 1/8". If anyone finds one to fit a standard height kitchen base cabinet please message me!! I have had no luck so have a freestanding barrel under the sink. Bummer, but not a dealbreaker. B) I am 5'6" and if I'm washing many dishes in the sink it can take a toll on your back. You are definitely reaching down into the sink to get your work done. Taller folks might want to consider this when purchasing. ** Cons: 9) As many reviewers have already stated, the pitch in this sink isn't enough to move the food and water into the strainer. You WILL swirl items around with a sprayer a few time and then probably still have to use a sponge to coerce the scraps away. It's annoying. I don't like it and I wish it was designed differently. HOWEVER, I love almost everything else about this sink so much that I can overlook this flaw. Summary: With a few exceptions, this is a wonderful sink. Considering the (comparably) reasonable price tag, I'm willing to accept the flaws in exchange for it's affordable beauty and functionality. I would purchase it again.
Review: Fantastic sink! 5 Stars! - You are definitely going to get your money out of this sink. My wife had been complaining about our double-sided sink for years, so I wanted to finally do something about it. We originally wanted a farmhouse sink, but understood it would probably be much more expensive than we thought. It would entail cutting out the granite front and possibly reshaping the cabinet to fit it. I called and had a guy from the original cabinet company come out to give me a quote. He seemed a little nervous about potentially damaging the granite and the cabinets to put a new sink in. I waited for a quote anyway. Three weeks and I never heard back from him, so I decided to put this one in MYSELF. As I said, the old sink was a double-sided one (Elkay brand) that listed for over a thousand dollars, current price (I have no idea why and can't believe our builder had us spend that much money on it). This sink is PERFECT. It is deep and wide and we are completely happy. It also has a beautiful mirrored satin finish like many very expensive sinks. It took a little time put the epoxy clamps in, ripping out the old sink, and rearranging the plumbing, but I'm glad I did it myself. I probably saved easily a $500-1,000 installation fee. I looked at the reviews A LOT before deciding on this sink. I saw a lot of people were complaining about it scratching easily, so I was extra careful installing it. I have the rack in it and it works perfect. If I can prevent scratches I will, but to tell you the truth EVERY stainless steel sink scratches. Eventually all the scratches blend together overtime so they are not as noticeable. Don't think you can spend a $1000 on another sink and it won't scratch as easy, that is not true. Anyway, with the rack, I was worried about food getting stuck under the rack and hard to clean out, but that is not the case. You simply use the sprayer on your faucet (hopefully you have one) and the food rinses right out of there (Use the rack and you won't get scratches). This sink was packaged superbly, had extra stuff with it, even clamps for holding it in place. The kicker was, these clamps require you to drill into the granite and use anchors. I didn't go that route. I bought the EZ clips from desertcart and used the PC-7 epoxy to mount them. I had 3 clips on each side and 4 in the back (comes with 10 clips). For the front, I didn't use any because there were already wood slats in place from the previous sink that I could use to hold the front in place. No complaints and I know this sink is extra supported. PC-7 is great and when it dries 24 hours later it is like cement and will not come off. Turns out the bracket or stud portion of the clip that was suppled by Kraus with this sink worked better than the stud from the EZ clips, so I simply used the EZ clip mounting base and the Kraus studs from their clips to hold the sink up. I would HIGHLY recommend this sink! You will save a lot of money and it is superb quality. It is not cheaply made, very heavy and made from 16GA stainless. As good as ANY $1,000 sink. Couldn't be happier. I wish you well and hopefully you decide to get this sink yourself. I am writing this review because I find reviews have really helped me on my buy decisions and I want to help you! I wanted to provide an update, it is now 1 month after installing this sink and I really love it and I STILL don't have a single scratch. I will note, to clean it I simply pull the rack and use the sponge side of a scouring pad. All you do is put a little dawn soap in the bottom and use the sponge to wipe it clean. If you rinse out the food every time you rinse dishes, you won't really get it dirty to begin with, but every 3 or 4 days I will do this and it works great. The rack works great as well, I absolutely love it (make sure you use it). That said, there is ONE thing I did change and it had nothing to do with the sink itself. I changed the baffle (the rubber drain piece) to the insinkerator garbage disposal I have. It was causing the sink to get clogged up a little and you would have to take your hand with a sponge and kind of shove the food particles through the baffle to get it to drain properly (Whoever designed this baffle at Insinkerator should be fired). I quickly looked for a new baffle on desertcart that would work better and FOUND ONE. Now everything is PERFECT, the sink drains like a champ. Here is the baffle I got (put this in search at desertcart and you will find it) : InSinkErator RSB-00 08302D Removable Sound Baffle, Iron. Probably when you see other people on here complaining about the sink not draining properly, it's because they also have an insinkerator baffle and need to change it. Now I love everything. Update 1/6/20 - This sink STILL impresses me. It has almost been a year since I installed it. I've cleaned dishes out in it numerous times now (hundreds of times) and I still don't have a single scratch. That said, I'm also careful not to bang dishes against the sides when placing them in it, which is easy because it's so big. It looks as good as the day I installed it. If you don't want scratches simply USE THE RACK and every 3-4 days, pull the rack and use the sponge side of a scouring pad with a little dawn dish soap. Do this and you WON'T get scratches. The only area of a very minor wear is where the feet of the rack come in contact with the sink, but who cares, you can't see these marks anyway when the rack is in. The rack serves a great purpose when you are rinsing food off of dishes. The food scraps go under the rack so when you set your dishes down while you are scrubbing them, the food you already scrubbed off stays off of them. When you are done with all the dishes you simply rinse the food scraps into the disposal. Update Feb. 2021 - Sink STILL looks about as good as the day I installed it. Still no scratches, only minor rub marks where the feet of the rack make contact with the bottom of the sink, but it makes no difference as you never see this with the rack in anyway. It is now Dec. 2022 and my sink STILL looks as good as the day I bought it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: a)What are the inside dimensions?
b) Has anyone had any problems with ice in the sink causing condensation?**
A: Hi! I didn't know which sink you are looking at, since this listing allows you to pick the 30" or the 32." So here are the inside dimensions for both! 30"/ KHU100-30: Basin Dimensions: 28 x 1632"/ KHU100-32: Basin Dimensions: 30 x 17DirectSinks

**Q: Does the included basket drain catcher still work if a garabage disposal is installed? Or do you just throw those away?**
A: It is unfortunate - love the basket idea but useless in a single bowl - maybe in countries without garbage disposals? Had to buy a new disposal flange to make the old disposal look fresh. Watched a video that indicates the basket drain does not fit a disposal?

**Q: does this sink fit an IKEA 30inch cabinet?**
A: Actually it does fit, however you'll have to 1) notch out for mounting and 2) use only the pull out doors. Reason being the sink doesn't clear the hinge on the 30inch cabinet and if you move it back an inch you lose an inch where the faucet goes....learned this after quartz was machined and I had to replace two doors with single pullout drawer....

**Q: We are looking for an undermount sink that will fit into our 24 in base cabinet from IKEA and like this product. Can anyone confirm that it does fit into 24 in base cabinet?**
A: it will fit but the clips to fasten the sink to the counter top will not be able to be reached once the top is in place, so you have to support the sink another way. Also like the previous person indicated it is a very deep sink, so be sure measure it against the cabinet to make sure the hinges clear.i have installed many of them, and own i one myself, you will not be disappointed.Markwww.formationsny.com

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Second Kraus sink...first one still looks new after 9 years of service. Great quality!
*by T***N on May 11, 2026*

This is our second Kraus sink. The first we bought 9 years ago for our kitchen remodel. I hadn't heard of the name and felt a bit hesitant to not go with the bigger brand suggested by the remodeling company, but was so glad that I gave it a try. The sink has performed perfectly and still looks new. Now we are in the midst of a laundry remodel. When we saw a quote of over $2000 for the other big "K" brand using thinner 18 gauge stainless steel (Remember the bigger number actually reflects a thinner product) , I knew we were heading back to Kraus. Love this super deep, heavy duty sink. When the countertop installers arrived they commented on it and said they recommend Kraus as well.
