Portable 15.6'' 1080P FHD Travel Monitor with Kickstand & Speaker, Second Monitor USB C HDMI, Gaming External Screen for Laptop PC Mac Phone Xbox Switch PS5/4

This is a review for the Caperave 17" 4k Monitor. I noticed a number of reviews were for the 15.6" Display.Setup was easy. All required cables were included as well as a USB-C power supply. I typically keep my laptop connected to a charger when using the external monitor. However, the monitor was easily powered via USB from my laptop battery. Note that, as expected, it did reduce run time by at least a third.I wanted a 4k monitor to match the resolution of my laptop display so resolution settings didn't have to be changed each time the external monitor was in use. The display is bright with good contrast and sharp images. The on-screen settings offer a full set of options, although the default settings seemed to meet my needs. Image quality mirrors the quality of my 14" 4K laptop display. The monitor display was restored automatically when the display came out of sleep mode. That was a concern as another reviewer mentioned an issue with this. Perhaps a laptop issue?The monitor is thin and light. The included slip case is a better choice for my use (better protection in my briefcase) than the fold-over covers that come with a number of the competitive offerings. Similarly, the kickstand to adjust viewing angle is more flexible and reliable than the typical fold-over case positioning tabs. This is not a touch screen, but I never use the built in touch functionality on the laptop's built in display. The audio in not very loud, but I suppose its challenging to get much volume out of the compact speakers required to keep the case as thin as it is. I'll use the external audio connector or switch the audio output to the laptop speakers when required.I emailed Caperave a couple times with questions about the display. They responded promptly. I'm hopeful that’s a good indication of future support.

I just bought this .. so these are initial impressions:PROS:* Bright! --- The 500 nits brightness of this monitor is awesome. The image really "jumps out" compared to other monitors I've had.* Accurate Colors - Seems to be very accurate for Photoshop, image manipulation, video editing, etc.* Light - They're not kidding when they say this thing is "thin". And it's light. Very easy to carry around.* Good kickstand - makes it pretty easy to set at "just the right angle".* Nice size - 17.3" is a good size. Yes, I would have preferred 18.5". But this is significantly bigger than my 15.5" portable monitor, and appreciated!CONS:* Brightness has to be rest every time - It appears the brightness setting does not have a "memory". Thus far I have to readjust it everytime I use the monitor. Not ideal .. but certainly workable.* Initially didn't show all available resolutions with M1 MacBook Air - but after setting it up again, that issue seems to be resolved.All in all .. I give this 4.5 out of 5 stars. But it's worth "rounding upward" because .. once you have it "dialed in" .. it's a truly amazing monitor.

The CAPERAVE 15.6 portable monitor was a great purchase at a great price. It looks and feels high quality and the image was absolutely bright and colorful. It looked a lot bigger also than I thought which will look and work great with my laptop. The USB-c cord and HDMI cords included in the box made it so easy to start using the monitor right out of the box. The included sleeve was a bonus and fits perfectly in my laptop bag and provides additional protection. You will not be disappointed with this portable monitor. Highly recommend and absolutely happy with this purchase.

I am just amazed of this screen. It is very easy to setup and ready to use out of the box. As you can see in my images from the product, it came in a well protected package. Inside you received a very convenient pouch to carry and protect the screen. Also all the connection cables, AC connector and user manuals. Is simply great. I tested it using my Samsung phone plugging the screen to the ac power and the USB-C cable to my phone. With the Samsung Dex function it works great 👍🏼 In my last images you can see that the front logo can be easily removed. Please read the instructions for the different connection settings and enjoy! I recommend this product. Great quality and at a great price.

It came with a nice storage sleeve and all the plugs and HDMI cables. Works great with my laptop and with my Onn stream box to use as a portal TV. Awesome productThe screen is nice , the resolution is good. I am very satisfied with the product. Great value for the money spent.

I was weary about the purchase given all the reviews were Amazon Vine reviews. I was pleasantly surprised.It’s a very good portable monitor for when I’m away for work. I borrowed a friend’s Dell portable monitor and it’s good enough for what I use it for. The images include the Dell laptop (left), the Caperave monitor (middle), and the Dell portable monitor (right). The colours are nice and bright, however the text is a little blurrier on the Caperave compared to the Dell laptop and monitor.I chose this one over the others on Amazon because of the kickstand vs magnetic cover stand. The only drawback is that you can stand it up portrait mode which I rarely do anyway. The kickstand angle is adjustable as well.I’ve not yet tested iPhone to monitor yet, but hope it will work. Needs a connection via hdmi - lightning.Connects via USB C, or hdmi with power adaptor. The manual says that without power plugged in, it cannot retain brightness or volume settings and it’ll default to 50% however mine defaults to 20% every time which is annoying.Pros:Affordable (I purchased when it had a coupon for $30 off, so it came down to $70usd)Good colours/displayEasy connectivity usb c and the option for hdmi connection w powerKick stand is sturdy (Vs the ones that use the flip cover stand)Cons:Does not retain brightness settingsKick stand does not allow for portrait mode
