If left to grow, it can easily reach over 8 inches in height. It works best if you keep it trimmed under 4 or 5 inches in height. This will encourage dense, compact growth. Alternanthera reineckii 'Mini' does best in aquariums with the addition of carbon dioxide and high light levels. The second photo shows a representative sample you will receive: approximately 6 stems each about 3 inches in length. The third photo shows the intense red color it will get when grown in an aquarium.
