If I get a shirt that has the correct torso length and diameter then it is too wide at the shoulder and the seam ends up landing somewhere down at the bottom of my deltoid. This pattern of construction for this Henley shirt is perfect, I can buy what fits good in the torso and there is no seam at the shoulder. Fairly easy if you're working though, so if that's something that bothers you, you probably need to stick to a 6040 cotton poly blend and these are 100% cotton. I'm a construction worker so that kind of thing doesn't bother me... I tried out the one and I ended up ordering four more the next day. Definitely recommend this shirt. It is a very thin light shirt though so this is a summer shirt only, typically I wear a shirt like this when the days are going to be 80°F or higher.
