So my search began. I loved a couple of the store options ie; Herbal Essence (white bottle), Loreal. They worked great, but then poof! they are not available.. But this..the ApotheCARE- I LOVE! And man! So does my hair ! I have medium thick wavy/curly, grey- I mean... Color treated hair. I shampoo thru once, add a bit for extra conditioning after, rinse w/ cool water and wooo hooo! Soft, shiny responsive.I love this stuff! I had dry and damaged hair from too much bleach and coloring, but this conditionee has done wonders for me. Also, it states that this product is meant for curly frizzy hair and i have fine straight hair! Ill never use anything else! ### ⭐⭐ Didn’t work for my hair type *by S*** on Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2019* At first I really liked this product because it smelled amazing. My hair is really healthy but lately felt a little dry. This product felt moisturizing and it felt nice in my hair. But after using it several times my scalp got really itchy. I read that your scalp can have an adjustment period after using sulfates for so long when you go to non-sulfate cleansers. Your scalp can become really oily during the adjustment period too. This has happened to me before with other sulfate free shampoos but it’s never gotten so itchy to the point it felt like I had lice. My hair got drier and more brittle. I couldn’t comb it without a crap ton of hair coming out. My scalp was also super oily, but I thought it was the adjustment period. Well, finally I couldn’t take it anymore and I had to use a sulfate shampoo. I felt like my scalp would burn off from how much scratching I did one night going to bed. Now I’m using a different sulfate free shampoo and my hair has gotten softer and looks so much healthier. The new sulfate free shampoo also has oils like Argan oil and Jojoba.I don’t know why this product didn’t work for me but I do know coconut oil doesn’t agree with my hair. I thought maybe it was a one off chance when I used a different shampoo with coconut oil, but this confirmed my hair does not like coconut oil. It makes it dry and brittle. My hair is low porosity and thick, which I heard sometimes doesn’t get along with my hair type. It could be possible another ingredient irritated me, but I’ve never been allergic to any hair ingredients before. My theory is it wasn’t cleansing enough for me so my dead skin cells and dirt from being outside and working out built up.
