I thought she would enjoy playing it. She is very talented with other instruments so this may be more of a toy to her. I thought it would be something that would be easy to carry around and did not take the space that larger instruments do. The item came in great condition, in a decorative box. With a velvet bag, tools, and a songbook. The instrument is well made and attractive. I also ordered a second one for the young daughter of a friend. These are Xmas gifts so I don't have their opinions yet.
