It is actually curved around the sides and provides a good fit and coverage without the black side borders of some protectors I've tried in the past.There aren't a lot of curved glass protectors available on Amazon UK, so I took a risk and decided to give this a try. I'm happy to say that I applied this protector about a week ago and I'm really pleased with the results.The package contents are a bit basic and sparse. You only get the bare essential items... wet and dry wipes, and some dust removal stickers. Notably missing is a microfiber cloth! Would have been nice to have that as well as an application tray!Cut outs are, in my view, absolutely perfect and align well to provide overall good protection. The oleophobic coating is top class and feels really nice to touch leaving little or no fingerprint smudges.This protector is not free of some of the cons surrounding curved glass protectors with side adhesive only. However, I find that the rainbow effect comes and goes based on the amount of humidity in the environment. The dot matrix is also only visible in very bright environments such as direct sunlight but that does not bother me at all. I think given the current availability of tempered glass protectors, it is a small price to pay to protect my Pixel 2 XL.I'm currently using this with a Caseology Vault case. It fits without any issues and combines well to provide good overall protection to my device. I've already dropped my phone twice albeit on a carpet but the protector remained intact.The reason for the 4 stars is that the adhesive used is a bit weak along the long sides and should have been stronger. It's holding up so far but not sure how long it will last before dust begins to seep into the sides. Also the package contents could have been better as I had to use a microfiber cloth that I saved from elsewhere.Overall, I'm quite please with this protector and highly recommend it to those that are, like me, not willing to go down the route of applying DIY liquid dispersion adhesives such as those used by Whitestone Dome Glass. ### ⭐ Useless in every way imaginable *by J***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 August 2018* The screen protector I received did not fit the curvature of the screen correctly. This meant that the stupidly thin adhesive strips around the sides did not stick fully. Over time, this would lead to dust and grit getting stuck under the protector, and in turn, scratch the screen that this product is meant to protect.This protector also covers the proximity sensor, which means that that always on display ceases to function, and the screen turns off when making calls.Poorly designed and poorly manufactured. ### ⭐ Awful Screen Protector *by E***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 March 2018* This screen protector has some good reviews but unfortunately after a day of using it the screen had a rainbow effect. I could not see the screen clearly. I am really disappointed with the purchase. It was a waste of money.
