I spent $8 bucks a piece on them at Ace Hardware to get new batteries put in them, thinking that might be the problem and nope, they still don't work. I loved them when they were working and it really gave me peace of mind, but expected the product to last longer than a few months. Would like my money back, but don't even know how to go about that since they say they are currently unavailable. The loud noice is sure to scare away a possible attack. To test it be prepared to have ear protection. It would also be a great way to set up a perimeter while camping. You can attach it to a fishing line and hook it up to the alarm key, placing the line about a foot above the ground and around trees.
