The hat is superb. It is waterproof and folds up quite small so that it can be kept in a coat pocket.

Well made foldable way waterproof cap.Cut off the securing line and clip, as got in the way-will take my chance in loosing it in high winds!One observation- the waterproofing seems to be achieved by a rubberisedcoating on the fabric interior. There’s some evidence of this being abraded off on the raised stitching. However so far the cap has provided good protection in some pretty atrocious conditions. For the price an excellent cap that fits in pockets easily.

It fits in my back pocket but when unfolded it becomes a fully waterproof cap with a full size peak to keep the rain off my glasses

Yes, it's a bit. . . . . odd. Typical Chinese job I guess. Rather over-large duckbill peak attached to a fairly thin flimsy hat. I got this mainly to try and keep my Kagoul hood out of my eyes when it's raining and it (sort of) works for that, but instead of the Kagoul hood restricting my vision it's now restricted (though less so to be fair) by the comically large duckbill instead.Maybe the reason the peak is so big is because it folds in three sections for pocketing and you kind of wrap it round the rest of the hat. There's a cord with a clip on it which some people think is for attaching to a garment to stop the hat blowing away, but I think it's just to wrap round the hat when it's folded like the tie you get on an umbrella. I think there's a picture showing this.Tip : I thought the clip was useless until I realised you have to lift it up to open it, not push it down. It's not very intuitive. It might tell you that on the tags but unfortunately they are almost entirely in Chinese so who knows.I mainly got this as it was one of the few actually available on next-day Prime. My finger is twitching on the 'Return' button but I'm going to keep it for now until I get get a better one with a smaller peak. Though frankly it's a bit pricey for what it is.PS. Unlike the pictures mine didn't say 'Outfly' on the front of the hat. I'm not sure if that's a bad or good thing.

This hat was thoroughly tested for waterproof on its first outing and it passed. Great if you wear glasses.

It is not what I expected.It’s a poor designed heavyweight baseball cap, so it may be good for bad weather, but ubusable for normal weather. It has a heavy, softshell-like material, not a lightweight, breathable material. its shield is fodable, but a bit too long, so it does not have the proportions as a standard baseball cap.Recomendation: if design is not emportant for you and you look for a solid built cap for garden works in British cloudy, windy, rainy day, you may find it usaful and you may even like it. However if you look for a foldable cap for mountain hikes or street wear on a sunny day, this is not the one for you.

Good quality hat, peek is a bit long, but ideal for keeping rain off glass. The length of the peek doesn't interfere with visibility. All round value for money

Il cappello è carino ed impermeabile, non so se funzioni sotto il monsone, però per la classica pioggerella in paesi tipo Inghilterra va benissimo. Vorrei solo evidenziare che è misura unica, ed è piuttosto stretto. A me per fortuna calza abbastanza bene, ma ho la testa piuttosto piccola. Credo che ad un uomo possa non andare bene.

Habe einen Ersatz für meine wasserdichte , Faltkarten Jack Wolfskin Mütze gesucht , die seit Jahren nicht mehr im Programm ist und die sich langsam auflöste. Die Mütze ist ein bisschen gefaltet ein bisschen größer als die alte, aber zum mitnehmen in der Brusttasche der Jacke geeignet, schützt vor Sonne wie auch Regen ( ich hasse es, wenn mein nur noch dünn behaarter Kopf nass wird). Kostet nur ein Drittel der alten Mütze, ist definitiv wasserdicht; klare Kaufempfehlung!
