My 10 year old grandson always complains on our annual beach trip about the rash he gets from the sand. The first year we have not heard a peep about the sand rash and we were able to enjoy the beach everyday on our vacation! My son is 8 and wears a youth medium (8-10) comfortably. We ordered the Men's XS/Youth Medium and they are WAY too big. Like they won't fit for probably 3 years. This said, these rashguard shorts are the absolute best for protecting against sand rashes and we used them through all of the toddler sizes without an issue. They are by far our favorites. PLEASE ADD actual youth sizes. Boys who wear 6, 7, 8, and 10 aren't represented in the current sizing.
