It was easy to install and the gears shift very smoothly. I also go much faster on it and my heart rate spikes up much more than cheaper Aluminum bikes. When I first assembled it, the front gears weren't shifting. I took it to a bike shop and they made some minor adjustments for 10 bucks and it was back working beautifully. This is an initial impression and I might update after a few months.EDIT: few months in and I'm still happy with this bike.
