Artcraft’s Silk Paint is extremely easy to use, and full instructions are contained within the kit. The kit is a gateway for beginners to embark on silk painting projects. Artcraft Silk Paint can be used with all silk paint techniques including salt sprinkling, contour, water painting and batik. The 15ml bottle of silk paint gutta is water based that can be used as an outline for silk painting. Once applied it can take 30 minutes to set. Once the silk paint has dried and been fixed by iron you will be able to wash your design at a low temperature and the gutta will disappear. The starter set includes 25 x 3 point pins used to attach the silk to the frame holding it tight to enable accuracy when painting. The 3 point stainless steel pins with fine points are designed not to mark the fabric when attaching silk or cotton to wooden frames for silk painting and batik techniques.
