MALEVOLENT CREATION is an American death metal band formed in Buffalo, New York in 1987 and moved to Florida in 1988. Florida has produced some of the most powerful and devastating death metal of all time with acts like OBITUARY, DEICIDE and DEATH, and amongst them was MALEVOLENT CREATION. Their albums feature some of the most groundbreaking playing and screaming ever. my favourite Malevolent Creation release
Personally, my favourite Malevolent Creation release. While being death metal and definitely MC, I like that this has more of the slower mid paced, thrashier elements to it than other MC releases. When I say Thrash, I'm thinking about Slayer's Reign in Blood and Dark Angel's Darkness Descends - the darker side of Thrash. The production is much clearer than the first two MC releases and suits the music here. The first and last 3 tracks are excellent with good riffs and plenty of pace and time changes.This album seems to get some bad press but I don't agree at all.
