Review: LOVE THIS SINK!! - This sink is wonderful! Upgraded from a stainless steel double basin to this one. It is deeper & does not have to be continually dried after using to prevent water spots!! The water stays warmer longer which somehow makes the Dawn bubbles last longer (?!!). It looks beautiful, was relatively easy to install with the directions and template included, and had the extra bonus of including both strainers (nice & heavy duty) as well as a silicone hand mitt that my husband loves because he can actually fit his big beefy, hand in it! And the absolute best thing is that it can be under or over mount. We currently have it over-mounted because we have not yet expanded our kitchen but needed to replace the faucet (which led to replacing the sink as well) but when we expand the kitchen and put in new countertops, we will undermount it. We both absolute love this sink!!!!

Was skeptical about retaining brackets but found them super easy to use and secured the sink well. Our counter top thickness is almost 2". **Q: will this sink support a garbage disposer?**
A: Yes it will. However, you may want to consider a couple of things. One, this sink is 9.5 inches deep. Two, the sink has an offset drain. You may want to measure under your cabinet to make sure there is enough space below and to the side of the offset drain to fit a garbage disposal. One more thing I had to do was buy (it was $15) a drain that fit my Insinkerator garbage disposal. The one that came with the sink did not suit the garbage disposal I have. This is a good sink. Hope it works for you. Good luck.

**Q: What grid/protector fit this sink?**
A: This sink doesn’t need a grid protector. I’ve had mine for 18 months and haven’t had any type of protection ,( in the past I’ve always used a protector)  and it still looks as good as the day we put it in. And to add a little more I don’t own a dishwasher, so my sink is used everyday.. Best sink I’ve ever had...

**Q: It says you need to have a 36” cabinet.... is this referring to the counter top needs to be at least 36” wide? Or the cabinet underneath needs to be at least 36” wide? I ask because the cabinet beneath my sink measures 34” but the counter top is over 115” as it sets atop multiple cabinets.**
A: That's a great question! The minimum cabinet requirement refers to the cabinet underneath the counter. However, 36" is a standard size, and the actual distance between the two cabinet walls may vary slightly. At 34" you may still be able to successfully install this sink. We would recommend working with a trade professional to determine fit prior to purchase and installation.  Hope this helps!

**Q: How do you clean it? What happens when renters use scouring powder or steel wool?**
A: Don’t know about renters. But it seems to clean easy.  We use hot water, soap, and maybe a green scrubby pad if needed.  I’m a plumber and I would think that abrasive powders and things like steel wool are completely unnecessary and damaging.  Free tip: hot water!  That’s the best cleaning agent.   Also running the hot water for a long time (run full hot until it turns warm then turn it off.) will help degrease the drain lines keeping you from having to call a plumber to come snake your kitchen line.  Or you can pay us to do it.  🙂

This sink is wonderful! Upgraded from a stainless steel double basin to this one. It is deeper & does not have to be continually dried after using to prevent water spots!! It looks beautiful, was relatively easy to install with the directions and template included, and had the extra bonus of including both strainers (nice & heavy duty) as well as a silicone hand mitt that my husband loves because he can actually fit his big beefy, hand in it! I wanted to update and replace our kitchen sink in our home that was built in 1896. I think the kitchen sink that was replaced came into the house shortly after it was built and was in pretty bad shape. The trip to Home Depot and Lowes only yielded the same old stainless sinks and I wanted something different. So off to E-Bay and Amazon to see what else was out there. This caught my eye and after three days of searching, I came back to this one and placed my order. It arrived early and the delivery person (Not Amazon) left it outside and did not close the gate. It was standing on the end of the box, but upon opening for inspection, found it was not damaged. I also ordered a soap dispenser to complete the upgrade. I already had a new faucet so the wait then for the plumber to come and install. The two gentlemen that did the work completed the install in just over 3 hours. And what a transformation it was. The sink goes very well with the other black appliances and accents in the kitchen. The deep bowls are wonderful to get buckets and other tall items in and out. Best of all is how quiet it is when running water into it. Cleanup is very easy so far, my plumber said to use a light coat of olive oil to maintain the luster on the sink interior. No negatives so far except for the charge to install, and that is not the sinks fault! Otherwise very happy, Michael
