Happy with the needles
Happy with the needles so far. Just used them yesterday in my class. They arrived on the expected date. They are quite sturdy which is what I need it, but soft enough for children. I like the fact that they are pointy.Good quality.

Not bendy but very useful
I needed some darning needles for an art project, and obviously couldn't find a single one of the dozens I already have. They're obviously in a 'safe place' probably all together having a party. So , i ordered a pack of these cheap and cheerful ones. They're the sort schools use with young children . Bright, solid, plastic with large eyes, big enough to thread ribbon or chunky wool through with ease.I've found them very useful, my only quibble is that they aren't very bendy, then again i was trying to weave a large metal and willow nest, which isn't exactly an everyday project!Happy to recommend. Thanks for reading, I hope you find this review helpful.

Good
These plastic needles are a good resource to use in the classroom. As they are plastic they of course are not going to work very well on proper sewing projects but they are good for an introduction.I use them with paper plates and wool for children to practice basic sewing skills.

The eyes are too big to go through plastic mesh sewing sheets
The needles are bright and probably fine to use, but they won't go through the plastic mesh sewing sheets that are sold for children because the eyes are too big.

Pick your fabric wisely!
The needles are sturdy and very safe for little fingers. Easy to thread. But I purchased binka book marks to sew for some 7-8 year olds. The holes were a suitable size but the needles were too big and stretched fabric.
