I used soft cloth and rub and rub and rub and rub and rub and rub on my tarnished gold stuff. Made very little difference.Then I got suckered by all those Dremel YouTube videos. Ran to Home Depot and spent over $100 on the Dremel tools. Within a few minutes, the tarnish on my gold was replaced with swirl marks! What a disaster.Then I reverted to use this cleaner. This time, I used the 414 felt polishing wheels to hand wipe the gold again for like 45 minutes. Success! I was able to reduce the Dremel-machine marks by 95% while the tarnish is 97% gone. The felt pads ran out very fast as my gold is pretty tarnished. Gonna order a bulk pack in Amazon and try this cleaner more.So here's my tips:1) Hand-wipe the gold using 414 polish felt pad2) Use soap water to clean the residues3) The Dremel tool way (with this cleaner or not) must be exercised with utmost care. I found this product years ago through an online search. I had a small jar, which took me years to use up, that finally ran out. I decided to get the larger jar/tub this time since I will be cleaning my pieces more regularly. I have not had any issues with this product. I apply it to my silver and gold pieces and the tarnish wipes off with ease almost instantly.
