I actually like the feel & look of the shorts on their own (the butt pads can be removed or repositioned within the inside pockets of the shorts. The effect of the pads for booty optics is decent. Not great, but def makes an improvement with certain clothing. Leggings are tricky, because the pads USUALLY can be seen--but not always when wearing thicker material. Position the 2 pads as close together as possible along the center line between the cheeks. Will force them to arch outward & give more lift & perkiness. This is key. With jeans, these shorts are a no-brainer. I even inserted 2 silicon adhesive butt pads underneath these padded shorts. (Silicone pads on their own are too conspicuous, but stay well hidden under the shorts & add some instant booty lift. This combo works best w jeans. Once you figure out the positioning, you may be surprised w/ the immediate enhancement. Just gotta experiment.) Overall, I gave the shorts 5 stars because I had low expectations. But they turned out to be low maintenance, comfortable & with certain outfits, effective & discreet.
