And no where in the description of the product does it tell you that. They hang a tie on it and it is 12 to 14 inches off the ground so I assumed it was an average size. When we got the valet put together and I saw how small it was I hung one of my husbands ties on it and it touched the floor. Did not try a pair of pants which is what we planned to hang on it. My husband is an average size man (5'11") not a large man so nothing he wears is going to fit on it. NOW what can I do with this VALET. We have it all put together so spending another hour or so taking it apart and trying to get it back in the box is not possible.I just want to cancel my new membership to PRIME. If this is the quality of the product you are selling I want no part of it. I will just continue to buy books for my kindle. That is all.
