It has a 40oz capacity, over a litre, so ideal for keeping hydrated particularly on long drives. The cup itself is vacuum-insulated stainless steel, easy to clean and to help retain heat or keep drinks chilled. However, the insulation is rather let down by the thin transparent lid (I don't know what plastic it is and the listing doesn't say), and for this I docked a star.I tested the cup by filling it with hot water (just below boiling point, as it would be for coffee), putting the lid on and sealing it, then placed it upright outside in chilly but not freezing weather. After an hour, I got the cup and tested the water's temperature - it was only lukewarm, so had lost much of the heat.
