They are a little smaller than I imagined. I had made a backing board in advance using Lichtenberg wood burning. The problem I had was not with the hooks, but the screws to mount 7 of the hooks. 5 screws broke. 3 while fixing a little pressure. The head snapped off the other 2. I put some pressure on the hook and the screw heads snapped off. I will be looking in my work shop for some better black screws as the ones provided are not fit for purpose.
