Review: Looks real! - These candles are perfect and I love the remote where I can turn them on and off remotely! There is an actual setting (candle mode) where the candle fades and brightens like a real candle flame would do! So realistic and pretty. The remote has lasted now for a second season too and all is working and looking very calm and Christmasy!

It's nice that they come with two remote controls and you can set them to come on and go off at a certain time if you want. You can also change the "flicker" to just a solid light. I personally like the flickering effect. They each take 2 AA batteries which are not included. I hope they last a long time! I love them!

These candles are perfect and I love the remote where I can turn them on and off remotely! There is an actual setting (candle mode) where the candle fades and brightens like a real candle flame would do! So realistic and pretty. These candles are very nice. They have a nice warm flickering glow. They look more yellow in the photo than they actually are. It's nice that they come with two remote controls and you can set them to come on and go off at a certain time if you want. You can also change the "flicker" to just a solid light. One of the candles won’t light up. Tried several new batteries. No way to find actual customer assistance to replace just the one defective item. The remaining eight do light up Fine and look really nice inside my fireplace
