The package says it’s only for outboards that do. Will this still work?** A: If you can’t tilt your motor it won’t work. If your motor won’t tilt there’s no need. If your motor tilts manual I believe you can lock it in place again no need for this product. What makes you think you need this product? **Q: will this fit on the square frame of the trailer? the ones i have seen fit on the roller on the back of the trailer** A: Yes it will, but you will need to drill a hole thru the frame to attach the bracket or you could weld the bracket, that is included for this type of setup. Was easy to install and very stable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great transom saver used with 20hp outboard *by S***1 on May 21, 2024* I bought this transom saver about a month ago and have used it several times so far when towing my inflatable boat on a jet ski trailer with a 95-lb 20hp motor on the transom. It has worked great and provided additional stability for the motor and transom during trips to the local boat launch. The plastic holders are probably just fine for the lower part of the motor to rest on, but I decided to add some padding on the surfaces the outboard contacts, which was purely a personal preference.
