So if you have one of these french door refrigerators with these filters do not sleep on replacing the filter. This fixed the problem. After my husband cleaned out all of the ice the freezer began to work. While we were waiting on the filter it started making the tell tale sounds that it was starting to freeze up again. We were hearing the fan making noise. A few days after putting the new filter back in the noises stopped and the problem reversed. I give this 5 stars!! Not only does it work, it fixed our problem and it is much cheaper that the ones at Lowes! We were paying $40 for one single filter and we got 2 for less than $20.
