Can you put it together by hand without a drill? Yes. Should you? No. My hands HURT after putting ONE of these together, after two I needed ice. Lol Top things, 1: It’s not raw cedar like it looks, i thought it was and planned to paint over it. It’ll have to be sanded if you plan on painting it. Its a printed pattern and it’s more of a orangey tone color in person. 2: It’s thick & I don’t think will break easily. 3: It’s easy to assemble as far as its straight forward and not too many screws/parts. BUT if you’re doing it by hand it’s hard to screw in the screws. I recommend just using a power drill and your hands/fingers will thank you.
