Both work on the same app. This lock is well built, easy to install and looks great. Works great a well. With the Nice DIGI app. Easy to set up in app. Also key if You forgot to replace batteries and it dies. You don’t need a subscription like some of the reviews I’ve seen about this lock. You can set and customize it to how you want it. So far so good. You do have to get a gateway if you want to open it remotely from anywhere other than home. One time buy. I ordered one haven’t came in yet so I can’t write a review on that part. The gateway cost $7 there’s some for $30-$40. Whatever you preference is. All the gateway does is connect your device to WiFi constantly so you can use your phone from anywhere to unlock it. If you don’t need or want that feature. Don’t need it. Don’t need to waste $. All the other features you get. Bluetooth lock and unlock with app when in range. Multiple fingerprints. Looking for easy, secure deadbolt lock for a good price. I recommend this. Paired with a smart handle door lock. On same app. Just a tap and you’re in. No more keys. Easier, faster and secure.
