Turn signal turns off automatically- don't need to worry about seeing the remote in daylight
I've been searching for a while for a turn signal that I can use on my scooter. Most of them have a remote that you use to turn it on and off-- but the downside is it's very difficult to know if they're still on, especially in daylight. This one shuts off automatically after about 5 seconds.... which is perfect for me.There's definitely downsides to this product, but considering my very specific requirement I'm giving it 4 stars. Downsides I've noticed are the backpack is very thin-- it'd be much better for a compactable travel bag than a daily backpack, and the handbar remote does not attach very easily (it is closed loop and hardly fits over my handlebars.... and I can't add it where I want, because it has to slide on from the end due to being closed loop)

Totally Honest & Unpaid Review! (*2 diff purchases)
I bought one of these last month. I immediately went online and tried to buy another but I guess I’d gotten the last one. I kept checking and saw the seller had more in stock. I ordered another and now they’re out of stock again. I’d suggest buying as soon as it’s in stock in case they’re no longer available. This is an amazing bag/light combo for the price. I’ve been researching and between the options of lighted turn signal helmets, turn signal jackets/vests, handlebar grip turn lights, seat post turn lights (many w very dumb and random signals), turn signal gloves, a very expensive $100 per front/rear turn light set, and a few other EXPENSIVE turn light backpacks... this is the all around, hands down, absolute best & cheapest option. Let me be clear. Don’t buy this if you’re looking for a bag to hold a lot of stuff. Nor is it great for heavy or sharp items as it’s very light and thin. There’s a handle on top for carrying. It is a very basic bag. One big pocket w a small, zippered pocket inside. It has a thin, white layer on the inside that I assume is suppose to be the waterproof layer. It WILL come off after 6 months of everyday use but won’t affect the quality of the bag. I’ve had these bags before. They’re made to be light and thin for a reason. No one wants to carry around a 2+lb empty bag when hiking/biking. The way it converts into a pack w a small strap is very useful for this reason. It’s not hard to convert it either. Just a few folds in 20 sec. It has 2 large mesh, side pockets but don’t put anything other than water bottles in them when the bag is completely empty. I noticed it was easy for things to fall out due to the soon to be mentioned “empty, floppy effect”. When filled, this isn’t a problem. There’s a small zippered pocket inside where a wallet or phone (or both) can be stored. Not much else in the bag. When it’s empty & because it has no internal frame, the bag is floppy (or when something is in the little pocket only as the pocket is inside on the top and weighs down the top portion of the bag) and hangs funny when walking w it on my back. Not really a big deal when biking. Just looks funny when completely empty & nothing to weigh it down and keep it balanced. Even a book or sweatshirt would solve this problem. (Both would very easily fit.) The reflective strips are a nice add & the ability to clip stuff onto them is helpful. There are 4 loops for carabiners or whatnot. I carry this bag on my bike so I always have it in case I get caught out after dark. It’s such a cheap and affordable way to stay seen and safe. The light itself is a small LED screen which is zippered into a little pocket inside the pocket on the front. Careful when zipping/unzipping because it kind of has a tendency to get stuck on the extra fabric on under side of the zipper. I might trim mine just so it doesn’t get stuck again. Again, no big deal. We’ve all had it happen w bags, jackets, etc. The light itself isn’t to be used for lighting purposes. ONLY as a turn signal. It takes about 1-1.5 hours to charge both the remote & LED screen. Very fast! Some people have referred to the battery dying very quickly. After my initial charge, the same thing happened w the remote. The screen was fully charged but the remote was dead. I’d only used it for 20 minutes. Then I re-read the instructions and remembered the remote has to be turned off when not in use. So after done riding, push the “button” down (towards the caution sign) for 5 sec just as was done when turned on. It will blink blue for a sec & then the remote will be off and keep the battery fuller longer. Now I haven’t had the problem again...except for when I forget to turn it off. Of course, my fault! So I’m wondering if maybe others have done the same thing and that’s the reason for the negative reviews? So the way it works is the screen will blink between the cycling signal & the caution sign when turned on. It stays on as far as I can tell. I left it on for about 10 minutes straight and that’s all it did until I pushed a button. If you push left, it will flash the white left turn signal for 6-8 or so sec, then after automatically flash to the cycling signal then back n forth between it and the caution sign. Same thing for right turn. They turn off (revert to the cycling/caution signs) automatically so no having to worry about remembering to do it which I’m obviously no good at doing. If you push the caution signal, it will blink caution for at least 6-8 sec then reverts to the back n forth routine between it and the cycling sign. The remote itself will blink blue (while signaling) underneath whichever signal you choose. This will let you know if it’s still on. It comes w 2 short, white charging usb cords inside a clear reusable package. For $15, how much more can you ask for? It’s impossible to not notice this when behind me at night. I like how it stays on but can only change between 4 signals so as not to divert too much attention from drivers. It’s the same attention as car lights would divert. I’ve read reviews wondering if the attention cyclists would divert to look at and push the signal buttons on the remote would be dangerous. I can’t see that at all. As long as the hand finds it, it’s pretty easy to navigate. If anything, don’t use it in specific situations if it’s going to be a distraction to remember which way is left/right. Smh. Rear lights are mandatory in most places anyway so it’s not as if failing to use the signals is going to be any worse. One shouldn’t be relying on them for just lighting. All in all, I can’t rave enough about what a cheap but effective and possible life saving item this is. What’s best about the bag though is the LED screen can be removed and placed into anything clear. I’m thinking of mounting another on the front of my bike basket and reversing the remote on my handlebar so I can use it for oncoming traffic. The only drawback to the item is the way the remote is a closed ‘O’. It must be able to fit over your handlebar grips in order to mount. It doesn’t open. Or else you’re have to take off the grips, attach it then replace the grips again. By turning the knob, it tightens. It wouldn’t be difficult to mount the remote other ways too w 15 min & few bucks. If anything, the remote can be removed from the mount and clipped onto something. W a piece of rubber or old bike tire as a shim, the remote could be attached w a zip tie through the opening on the clip to the handlebars too. And if that won’t work, there are $4-10 handlebar extenders available that will allow more space. I keep all my remotes on my extender which can be repositioned anywhere on the handlebars w 2 turns of a hex wrench. As soon as these are available again, I’ll be buying more, testing they all work and putting them away as gifts for xmas. Such a wonderful gift for a cyclist. And if ever it breaks or doesn’t work, it’s still a good convertible, light bag pack. Again, even if I paid $15 and it only worked for 1 year, it would still be worth it to me. I know I throw away $15 on other useless stuff in a month so what’s another $15 for something that is not only smart but may prevent an accident to worse?*I’ll update in a few months after summer and more daily use.

The product is great! The backpack is light weight and similar to a folding shopping bag. (Wouldn't recommend putting sharp objects in it) The main feature is the traffic signaling plate. It can be transferred to a transparent backpack if you want something stronger. 5 stars.
