(electrodepot 30amp 3 pole) *by J***. on April 9, 2019* I'm using just one pole of this contactor to control a 10,000 BTU air conditioner. This contactor is overkill for the task, but I like overkill. A WEMO WiFi smart plug is being used to remotely energize the contactor coil. I can now control the AC from anywhere in the world. This contactor is well designed. All the terminals are fairly well protected to prevent shocks. Of course, some common sense is required when working around contactors. Used it in conjunction with a WiFi smart plug to make a Google Home pool timer / remote switch.
