When they arrived I was a little sceptical as they are made from a very hard and unyielding plastic but I have quickly found them to be extremely comfortable and supportive. The "dome" part is separate but sort of velcros on to the base making them easy to adjust for the shape of your foot and once you have got past the initial something-in-your-shoe feeling, they are brilliant.
