I went with the standard width and it fit my wide feet comfortably. I had no issues with the top of the shoe binding my high instep which can be a problem with loafers. These are good day to day shoes that are going to work with jeans, leggins or office casual slacks. They are not fancy, but, they are extremely practical and affordable. I would consider buying other colors just to have some fun variety in my closet!
