Best product of its kind
I’ve used DeSoto arm coolers for years. DeSoto invented these. They are well worth the additional cost. The are of the highest quality. Don’t buy the cheap knockoffs. These are the best. UV protection and cooling.

Works just as they say
I hate getting slathered in sunscreen, and these sleeves really save my arms from this drudgery. My skin turns to lobster red very quickly without it, and these protect me perfectly.Very comfortable, they keep me cool as they absorb perspiration. Easy to clean and hang dry. Fits snugly but is never uncomfortable, doesn’t slip.Eventually, I want to have 3 pairs of them, but even one is a great addition to the gear.Happy riding. 🙂

These arm protectors are durable and fit well
This is my second pair and they seem to work well to block much of the harmful solar radiation we get here in southern Arizona. Also my arms are not skinny and these fit at they should for the size I ordered. I have purchased other brands that were too tight to get on.

It works!
I backpacked Trans Catalina Trail for 5 days and wore this arm coolers every time. No sunburn at all. The trail has no shade at all. I did get a bit of chafing on the inside of portion of my arm where the top arm band is. I put KT tape on it and it didn't bother me after that. I ordered small and I have a 10" arm.

Really is cooling
Great cooling, great UV protection, I even got a slight tan line lol. The fit of the one I got was a too tight and did cause some skin rubbing, so next time I might go a size up. I am a size medium shirt, a friend said to get the small-- probably a bad move. But that is on my so can't deduct stars. Of the 3 arm sleeves I own, these are hands down the best.

Arm Coolers FTW
These are amazing. I was always skeptical of arm coolers, but decided to try them for Ironman Chattanooga as heat index was predicted to be 105.I am so happy I did. They cooled my body down and kept me running strong while other people were getting crushed by the heat. The key is to pour water on them, dump ice down them and not let them get dry. When they get dry they act as additional clothing and don’t do their job.Highly recommend if you are looking for ways to stay cool in extreme heat races.

I think De Soto makes the best arm coolers
I think De Soto makes the best arm coolers. That said, these are a bit short (and I'm pretty small). I prefer for the sleeves to be long enough to meet my cycling gloves and these are just a bit short to come that far down and also go up far enough that there's no gap between the arm cooler and my jersey sleeve.

Only blocks UVB and I still burned
I realize they only block uvb, but that should mean I wouldn’t get sunburned and I definitely got a bit red. UVA isn’t blocked and that causes the deeper skin damage. I did wear sunscreen underneath, but didn’t reapply on my 4 hr bike ride. I’m sure I can find something better (both uva/uvb) for less money. My goal was to avoid sunscreen and skin cancer and these don’t do that.
