The scent is hard to describe, but I would call it pleasant, clean, fresh, and subtle. I've never smelled anything quite like it, but the smell is one of the things I love about, though its effectiveness and lack of feeling greasy after application certainly add to my enjoyment of it. The unexpected was that it really makes my tattoos POP! I’m know that lotion just doesn’t that, but this is different. I only use lotion during the cooler to colder months of the year when my skin becomes very dry and hand skin peels and crack. This not only feels good going on, but it is just the right consistency and not greasy or oily whatsoever. Just a very nice lotion with a pleasant, not perfumie smell. The lotion is not one of those slow drip liquids that when the reserve is low and the pump won’t pump the last drop, you can’t just turn it upside down and wait on it like ketchup. You have to really bang the bottle on the hand. However, I have figured out a solution for that.
